What is truth? Is it absolute, or is it created in the mind of the individual? We now live in a world, where truth is based on a person’s world view, not factual information? “The truth will make you free”, from John 8:32 comes to mind when one contemplates the meaning of the word. Those of us that follow Christ, see absolute truth in the Son of God. If you really break it down, what constitutes absolute truth? That would probably depend on who you talk to. Does unadulterated truth exist in modern society, and if it does, why does it seem convoluted at times when it should be crystal clear? Perception is reality when public opinion is shaped by political views, news media, and pop culture. The 24 hour news cycle and instant reporting of breaking news from anywhere in the world, is great for those of us that want to stay informed in real time. But, does this instant access to news, make us vulnerable to manipulation and propaganda? Could this misinformation, be an attempt by oligarchs in Washington DC, to lead the public away from the Constitution, and in the direction of a socialist state?
We have reached a point in our history where facts are usually overlooked, even though in many cases, they are staring us right in the face. A world view bias can hinder our ability to reason and analyze information, which makes it extremely difficult to make sound decisions. As a result, we find ourselves jumping to conclusions, making assumptions, and consequently, issues are created, that in reality are nonexistent. When people think and act with their emotions, there is a great deal of damage that is done to a society over a long period of time. Generation after generation, the youth becomes more ignorant, mainly due to the reeducation camps that exist as part of academia, AKA universities. A college education in modern times, teaches you what to think, not how to think. Brilliant minds that are responsible for the creation of products and/or services , that have become staples in our everyday lives, did not go to college. That is not to say that there are not very talented college graduates, but it has been shown that it is not be any means, a necessity for success. Most college graduates, go out into the world, with a twisted sense of reality, planted in their brain by a Marxist and/or communist professor. These so called professors, with a tendency to have an anti American bias, are a dime a dozen in academia. The truth, as it is understood by one of these grads, is that we are destroying the earth, guns kill people all by themselves, and as a result, they must all be banned. It is true to them that infanticide is not really murder, if the unborn is not wanted by anyone. How is this sold to these once bright young minds? Well, if you are a global warming denier, you want to destroy the earth, and must hate mother nature. Ban all guns so that we can make our children safe. If you are against gun bans, you must want children to die. If you disagree with a woman’s “right to choose” to murder her baby, then you are against womens’ rights. War on women! All of these arguments from the left are tailor made for tugging at ones emotions, and getting a prompt response from useful idiots, without analyzing facts, or understanding of cause and effect, and how it relates to a series of events. These kids may be well meaning, and they usually feel like they are doing their part to make the world a better place, but completely destroying the lives of those that disagree with you, and insulting those with a different world view, is not a good strategy for moving forward on anything.
Tolerance has been touted over and over again in this liberal crusade against anyone that sees something from a different perspective. But these liberals that preach the message of tolerance, lack the qualities that they, vilify others for not having. Until we learn to sit down, and talk to one another, we are not going to realize that we are not all that different from each other, we just have different ways of getting there. We all need to engage, and start to exchange ideas, in the absence of politicians, who only look to divide us based on race, or perceived class. There was a time when we were able to do that, what happened?
