There are however, cases where government acts within the limits of the Constitution, but the actions cause severe damage to the fabric of the country, the economy, and its citizenry. Obamacare has turned out to be a textbook example of horrible legislation, that has become law, through the proper legislative channels. The fact that it was passed in both houses of congress, and signed by the President, does not mean it is good for the country. Dodd/Frank, is another example of bad legislation that made it through congress, and has had adverse effects on our economy.
We have many in this country currently, that only want what they want, and fail to see things from another point of view, or understand that 100% of people are not always going to be completely satisfied. The key is consistency, and seeing things for what they are, not through the bias that seems to be so prevalent, when playing partisan politics. Legislation that is not favorable to a person, or group of people, does not make it unconstitutional. The same way that favorable legislation, does not always amount to Constitutional legislation. We need to get back to principle, and call a spade a spade. We need to recognize truth, and do what is right, not what happens to be politically expedient.
